The Role

Our client is looking for an Audit Semi Senior to join its team. This could suit an Audit Assistant ready for more responsibility or an existing Semi Senior looking to broaden their experience.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Assisting with audit planning and understanding clients’ businesses.
• Completing testing across key financial statement areas.
• Preparing clear working papers that document evidence and conclusions.
• Gathering information from clients and following up queries.
• Responding to review points and supporting audit completion.
• Assisting with financial statements and accounts preparation where required.

About You

You’ll have practical audit experience within an accountancy practice and ideally be studying towards ACA or ACCA.

Experience completing sections of audit fieldwork will be useful, alongside an organised approach and confidence communicating with clients. You should be keen to develop your knowledge and take on greater responsibility as your experience grows.
