The Role

Our client is looking for an Accounts Senior to join its team. This could suit an established Senior looking for a fresh opportunity or an experienced Semi Senior ready for more responsibility.

Your work will include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns.
• Reviewing bookkeeping records and resolving accounts queries.
• Managing deadlines and taking assignments through to review.
• Speaking with clients to obtain information and explain their results.
• Reviewing junior colleagues’ work and providing practical support.

About You

You’ll have accounts preparation experience within an accountancy practice and be confident working on assignments with a good degree of independence.

ACA or ACCA qualification would be welcome, although candidates nearing qualification or qualified by experience are also encouraged to apply.

You should be comfortable communicating with clients, organised in your approach and keen to take ownership of your work.
