The Role

We’re recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join our client’s team in Bath. This could suit an Accounts Assistant ready to move forward or someone already at Semi Senior level looking to develop their experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Preparing corporation tax computations and assisting with tax returns.
• Completing VAT returns and resolving bookkeeping queries.
• Contacting clients to gather information and answer routine questions.
• Producing working papers for review and responding to feedback.
• Organising your assignments to meet agreed deadlines.

About You

You’ll have experience within an accountancy practice, including accounts preparation and a good grounding in bookkeeping.

You may be studying towards AAT, ACA or ACCA, or developing your career through practical experience. You should be comfortable speaking with clients, willing to ask questions and keen to build your accounts and tax skills.

Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage would be useful.
