The Role

Our client is looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join its team. This could suit an Accounts Assistant ready to step up or an existing Semi Senior looking to broaden their experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Preparing corporation tax computations and assisting with tax returns.
• Completing VAT returns and reviewing bookkeeping records.
• Speaking with clients to gather information and resolve routine queries.
• Preparing working papers for review and following up review points.
• Keeping your workload organised to meet agreed deadlines.

About You

You’ll have experience within an accountancy practice, including hands-on accounts preparation and a good understanding of bookkeeping.

You may be studying towards AAT, ACA or ACCA, or building your career through practical experience. You should be approachable, organised and keen to develop your accounts and tax skills.

Experience using Xero, QuickBooks or Sage would be useful.
