In this role, you'll lead the firm's legal accounts function, overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance team while ensuring full compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and supporting the continued success of the business.

We're working with a well-established law firm in Tunbridge Wells that is looking to appoint an experienced Head Legal Cashier to oversee its busy accounts department.

This is a key leadership role where you'll manage the day-to-day legal cashiering function, ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules while supporting Partners and the wider business. You'll oversee client and office accounts, authorise payments, supervise reconciliations, assist with month and year-end processes, and help develop efficient financial procedures. You'll also provide leadership, guidance and support to the accounts team, ensuring high standards are maintained across the department.

The ideal candidate will have significant legal cashiering experience gained within a law firm, together with an excellent understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules. Previous supervisory or management experience would be advantageous, although applications are welcomed from Senior Legal Cashiers ready to take the next step into a leadership role.
