We’ve recently taken on a new role with one of our closest clients - a well-established, mid-sized, independent accountancy practice that has experienced substantial growth over the past few years.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have emerging, strong, technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, with at least two years’ experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients within an accountancy practice. They will have a desire to continue to develop their technical skills further. They will enjoy being involved in tax planning opportunities and solving technical queries, with the support of the more experienced team members. They will have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Part qualified ATT, CTA or QBE will also be considered
Key Responsibilities
- To be responsible for undertaking the compliance for a portfolio of personal tax clients (including the preparation of personal tax returns, CGT returns, forms P11d etc.).
- To be the main point of contact and build strong relationships with your diverse and interesting portfolio of clients
- To deliver proactive tax advice, assist with tax planning projects, including capital gains tax, residence and trusts etc, subject to experience. The open-door culture at this firm will ensure you feel supported and mentored in any areas you lack experience
- To develop and maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge
Study support can be considered for those wishing to pursue the ATT or CTA, if not already qualified (QBE is fine too)
Basic Details
- Hybrid working and flexibility with hours
- Full time, but part-time can be considered
- Monday to Friday
- Salary: Dependent on experience
