The Company & Role
We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Guildford, offering a fantastic opportunity for an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team.
Our client places a strong emphasis on developing its people, with a welcoming, collaborative environment where you'll be supported throughout your studies and encouraged to progress.
You'll gain experience across a variety of audit and accounting assignments, including:
- Assisting with external audits from planning through to fieldwork and completion
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
- Completing management accounts and VAT returns where required
- Liaising directly with clients and developing strong working relationships
- Supporting junior colleagues as your experience develops
About You
We're looking for someone with previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice, ideally with some exposure to both audit and accounts.
You'll ideally be studying towards ACA/ACCA, although AAT-qualified and part-qualified candidates are also welcome.
