Personal Tax Manager

In this role you'll be managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, delivering a mix of compliance and advisory work while building long-term relationships with individuals, business owners and high-net-worth clients.

We're working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in High Wycombe that is looking to recruit a Personal Tax Manager as part of its continued expansion.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a people-focused firm with an excellent reputation for looking after its staff. You'll work closely with Partners and experienced tax specialists while managing your own portfolio and developing your advisory expertise.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including directors, sole traders, landlords and high-net-worth individuals
• Reviewing and preparing Self Assessment tax returns
• Advising clients on areas such as Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and trusts
• Providing tax planning and advisory support tailored to individual client needs
• Acting as the main point of contact for client queries and HMRC correspondence
• Supporting and reviewing the work of junior members of the tax team
• Building strong, long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities to add further value

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates with previous personal tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice. ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA qualified or qualified by experience candidates will all be considered, provided you have strong technical knowledge and enjoy working closely with clients.
