The Role: We're searching for a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Assistant to ensure smooth and accurate payroll processing while supporting the broader accounts team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process weekly/monthly payrolls accurately and on time
- Create payroll journals for posting to the Nominal Ledger when required
- Submit monthly and annual returns to HMRC, including FPS, EPS, and EYUs
- Deduct and manage pension contributions, ensuring timely payments to pension providers
- Resolve HMRC payroll queries efficiently and professionally
- Maintain accurate data using IRIS Payroll Professional software or Staffology
