About the Role
A client of ours in Basingstoke (WITH PARKING) is searching for a conveyancing paralegal or secretary to join their team.
They are open to paralegals and secretaries as they have a unique opportunity to tailor the role in either direction.

The Role:
In this position, you will work closely alongside a team of Conveyancers with the goal of ensuring the department works seamlessly.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a small caseload under supervision (as a paralegal)
- Helping fee earners with administrative duties
- Managing diaries (as Secretary)
- Handling client calls, both for updates and to take initial instruction
- Helping with any ad-hoc duties
Due to the role being part of a busy department, the firm are keen to have a candidate with prior conveyancing experience join the team. The Ideal candidate will have:
- Over 1 year of conveyancing experience
- Experience liaising with clients directly
- Strong attention to detail
- A can-do attitude
