Client Manager/ Accounts Senior

We're working with a highly regarded accountancy practice in Oxford that is looking to recruit an Accounts Senior / Client Manager as part of its continued growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice accountant looking for greater autonomy and responsibility within a firm that genuinely values its people. You'll work closely with the Partners, manage your own client portfolio, and have the opportunity to shape your career as the business continues to expand.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of limited company, partnership and sole trader clients
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
• Reviewing management accounts, VAT returns and bookkeeping
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing ongoing advice and support
• Supervising, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members
• Attending client meetings and building long-term professional relationships
• Supporting Partners with advisory projects and business development opportunities

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates with previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice. ACA/ACCA qualified, qualified by experience (QBE), or finalists will all be considered, provided you have strong technical knowledge and enjoy building lasting client relationships.
