The Company & Role
We're working with an established accountancy practice in Southampton who are looking to recruit an Outsourcing Manager to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mixture of hands-on accounting, client management and overseeing a team, with the chance to take ownership of assignments and further develop their technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing their ongoing accounting and outsourcing requirements
- Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Overseeing bookkeeping and VAT returns, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time
- Personally preparing more complex management accounts, VAT and bookkeeping assignments
- Reviewing work completed by junior and senior team members, providing feedback and technical support
- Building strong client relationships, answering queries and providing practical accounting advice
- Supporting the development of the wider outsourcing team
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates with previous experience in a UK accountancy practice, particularly those with a strong background in management accounts, VAT and bookkeeping.
Ideally, you'll have some experience reviewing work and managing client relationships. ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified and QBE candidates are all welcome to apply.
