The Company & Role
We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Camberley that's looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper / Management Accountant to join its team.
Our client offers a friendly, collaborative working environment where people are genuinely supported and encouraged to develop. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a variety of clients and wants to continue building their experience in bookkeeping and management accounting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, including purchase and sales ledger work
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns, including Making Tax Digital compliance
- Completing bank reconciliations and reviewing control accounts
- Preparing accruals, prepayments and other month-end adjustments
- Liaising directly with clients, answering queries and providing ongoing support
- Working with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
About You
We're keen to hear from anyone with previous bookkeeping or management accounts experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
AAT qualified, studying or qualified by experience (QBE) candidates are all welcome.
You'll ideally be comfortable managing your own workload, communicating with clients and preparing VAT returns and management accounts.
