We have just taken on a brand new role with one of our clients based in Amersham, a friendly family-run business with a strong reputation and desire to grow.

**ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE** - Office location is slightly rural, but has amazing countryside views!!

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our clients team due to a team retirement - the person stepping down has been with the company for over 20 years, so you can rest assured that it's a great place to work!

In this role, you'll be responsible for the following:

• Completing a range of bookkeeping activities up to the management accounts
• Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate account reconciliation
• Completing bank reconciliations and intracompany accounts
• Oversee/complete accounts payable and receivable functions
• Processing monthly payroll for around 40 members of staff
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with external accountants during audits and provide necessary documentation
• Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and organisational policies

Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in a bookkeeping role
• Experienced in running payroll
• A positive 'can-do' attitude, happy to take on responsibility
• A good team player!
