We're recruiting for a friendly, personal, and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Farnham, which has a lovely team environment and great people-first approach!

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual studying towards ACA/ACCA (part-qualified) with 1–2 years of UK audit experience, looking to build on their skills within a supportive and dynamic team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working on a variety of interesting and complex audit assignments across multiple sectors
  • Preparing audit files, supporting audit planning, and leading or assisting with fieldwork
  • Completing audit sections or smaller audits from start to finish as you gain experience
  • Preparing corporation tax computations alongside audit work
  • Supervising, training, and assisting junior team members
  • Managing your own workload to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
  • Liaising with seniors, managers, and partners to ensure assignments are completed on time and within budget
  • Building long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Collaborating closely with other teams across the firm to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Opportunity to get involved in accounts preparation alongside your audit work

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA part-qualified (or studying)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of UK audit experience in practice
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven IT skills: Excel essential; experience with IRIS, Xero, Sage, Caseware, CCH advantageous
  • Positive, confident, proactive attitude with a collaborative approach
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work
