Audit Semi Senior – Southampton
Hybrid Working | Full ACA/ACCA Study Support | Long-Term Progression
In this role, you'll be assisting with external audit assignments from planning through to completion, working with a varied portfolio of clients while developing your technical skills and progressing towards qualification.

The Company & Role
We're recruiting for a well-established accountancy practice in Southampton that's looking to welcome an Audit Semi Senior to its growing team.

You'll gain hands-on experience across a variety of audit assignments, gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills develop.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with external audits from planning through to fieldwork and completion
- Preparing audit working papers and completing substantive testing
- Working with clients across a variety of sectors, including owner-managed businesses and larger organisations
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts where required
- Working closely with Audit Seniors and Managers to ensure assignments are completed efficiently
- Supporting junior colleagues as your experience develops
About You
We're keen to hear from anyone with previous external audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
Ideally, you'll have around 1–3 years' experience and be studying towards ACA or ACCA, although candidates at different stages of their qualifications are welcome.
