Are you ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearly there) and ready for a role that offers real variety, international exposure, and the chance to lead?

We are recruiting for a respected medium-sized accountancy firm based in Reading, part of a larger UK group. With a strong mix of UK and international clients, they’re looking for an experienced Accounts & Audit Senior to join their expanding team.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both external audit and year-end accounts work, and is confident reviewing others’ work while continuing to develop technically themselves.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading a mix of audit and accounts assignments
• Preparing more complex accounts and audit work
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
• Liaising directly with clients to build trusted relationships
• Assisting with planning and delivering high-quality engagements

This is a hands-on, varied position offering the opportunity to work with a broad client base—including UK owner-managed businesses and international groups.

What our client is looking for

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist)
• Strong experience in both audit and accounts prep in a UK practice
• Able to manage assignments from start to finish
• Comfortable reviewing and supporting junior staff
• Clear communicator and problem-solver, with strong attention to detail
