We’re working with a top accountancy practice based in Guildford with a social, supportive, and collaborative team environment who are recruiting again due to expansion and growth.

All applicants must have experience of working in a UK Accountancy Practice.

The Role

This role will be varied and will span across various aspects of audit, accounts, outsourcing, and tax – they have some flexibility so can consider candidates from different backgrounds.

• Preparing and/or reviewing (depending on complexity) year-end accounts (FRS 102, 102 1A, and 105), corporate tax returns, management accounts, and VAT returns
• Undertaking various audit assignments, working on them from planning through to completion – this only makes up for about 10-20% of the role
• Assisting the personal tax team with basic self-assessment tax returns
• Assisting with corporate finance work including M&A due diligence
• Reviewing bookkeeping completed by juniors
