Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Residential Property Solicitor to join its Eastbourne office following an increase in conveyancing transactions.
This role would suit a confident property lawyer who enjoys taking ownership of their files and providing a personal service to clients.
You’ll handle transactions from initial instruction through to post-completion, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Buy-to-let transactions
- Acting for buyers and sellers
- Advising on SDLT, including higher rates, exemptions and reliefs
- Working in accordance with the UK Finance Mortgage Lenders’ Handbook
- Developing relationships with estate agents, brokers and other property professionals
The firm is looking for someone experienced enough to manage a busy caseload with minimal assistance. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently and enjoy direct communication with clients and agents.
A qualification as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX Lawyer is welcomed, although relevant experience is an important consideration.
Full-time is preferred.
