About the Role

Our client is looking for a legal cashier to support to accounts team. This role would suit someone who already understands the importance of the SRA Accounts Rules and the structure of client and office accounts, but is still early in their career and keen to continue developing their knowledge within a supportive legal environment.

You will be:

  • Processing daily financial transactions including client receipts, payments and transfers in line with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Managing and reconciling client and office accounts, ensuring all postings are accurate and up to date.
  • Preparing and processing CHAPS, BACS and bank transfers, including completion funds for property transactions.
  • Carrying out regular bank reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies.
