About the Role

Position Overview:
You will play a key role in managing client relationships and supporting the delivery of accounts and tax compliance work for a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, partnerships, and individuals. You will supervise junior staff, review work, and contribute to the ongoing success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, and LLPs
- Prepare and review corporation tax, partnership tax, and personal tax returns
- Support and supervise junior team members, reviewing their work and providing guidance
- Act as a point of contact for client queries, building strong client relationships
- Assist partners with client meetings and ad hoc advisory work
- Monitor job budgets and workflow to ensure timely, accurate delivery
- Identify opportunities to improve processes or add value for clients
- Contribute to business development through referrals and networking
Required Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in general practice
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts and tax compliance
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Enjoy working collaboratively in a close-knit team
