Semi Senior Accountant

We’re working with a well-regarded accountancy practice in Alton who are looking to add a Semi Senior Accountant to their growing team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with some practice experience who’s looking to broaden their skillset across both audit and accounts in a supportive, development-focused environment.

The Role:
A varied position covering both audit and non-audit work, giving you great all-round experience.

• Assisting on audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Preparing year-end accounts (FRS 102 1A, 102, 105)
• Preparing VAT returns and management accounts
• Supporting with corporate tax computations
• Liaising with clients and building relationships
• Working closely with seniors and managers on a range of assignments

What we’re looking for:

• 1+ years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice
• Some exposure to audit (or keen to develop in this area)
• Studying AAT/ACA/ACCA or looking to start (support available)
• Organised, detail-focused, and eager to learn

Basic Details:

• Monday to Friday
• Hybrid working
• Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
• Study support available
