Semi Senior Accountant

We’re working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Reading that’s looking to bring in a Semi Senior Accountant.

This is a perfect role if you’re looking to build a broad skillset across audit, accounts, and tax – with plenty of support, training, and progression along the way.

The Role:

• Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Preparing year-end accounts (FRS 102, 102 1A, 105)
• Corporate tax returns and personal tax exposure
• Preparing VAT returns and management accounts
• Liaising with clients and supporting queries
• Supporting and learning from senior team members

What we’re looking for:

• 1–2+ years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice
• Studying ACA/ACCA or AAT (or looking to start)
• A proactive, keen-to-learn attitude

This is a well-rounded role that will give you real variety and help you figure out where you want to specialise longer-term.
